A timeline / calendar running from June 2019 – May 2020 showing the following:
- when applications for the various options you are considering open and close
- your own personal deadlines
- for applying for your selected options
- to have selected / learnt / prepared / sent off application and audition material (as appropriate)
- the date of the performances as part of the Progression evening
Part 2
An Action Plan showing:
- what specifically you need to prepare (portfolio, specific audition material etc.)
- the resources you will need to use / have access to in order to be able to achieve the deadlines you have set yourself (e.g. time required i.e. 3 full days to choreograph a suitable 1 ½ minute dance solo e.g. access to a dance studio to choreograph the solo e.g. access to a singing tutor to prepare songs e.g. purchase of an A3 portfolio e.g. internet access to research monologues e.g. access to a photocopier to print off portfolio materials)
- how you are staying on track (or not) and achieving / not achieving your aims
Part 3
A log / record of interviews / auditions applied for and the outcomes of these (To be added to this WordPress page as they happen!) – there is no deadline for this as you will need to complete it throughout the year!

Fail
Ineffective planning and little or no evaluation against aims. Task or tasks are incomplete.
Pass
Evidence of effective planning and evaluation against aims that have contributed to a satisfactory completion of the task or tasks.
Merit
Coherent and reasoned planning, subject engagement and commitment. Realistic evaluation against aims and efficient production against timescales.
Distinction
Detailed and coherent self-directed planning and negotiation, subject engagement and commitment. Continuous evaluation against aims and efficient production against timescales.
The above statements are guides to how evidence for the final unit (12) will be assessed. Tutors will let you know in their feedback how your evidence for this unit (10) compares to these achievement standards so that you are aware of the level you are currently working at.
