Tuesday
Initial Thoughts
- I feel everyone was off focused today
- forgetting harmony
What was Good About it;
I think that it s still going well as the show is slowly pulling together and everything is nearly finished my a couple more parts to choreograph.
What was bad about it;
It seemed today everyone had lost focus this effected our work a lot as it meant people wasn’t doing the right harmony’s. This then made parts of the session painless.
Evaluation;
It was good because the show is getting completed quite quickly now, and I think that most scenes have been blocked. Opening night is very soon, therefore, we dont have long until we start tecing the show in the theatre, so every scene needs to be completed that the show can start be ran all the way through. Also, it is is good that I am in another scene because then I can push myself with my acting and the audience can see my character that I have created and how she is different from every other character in the show.
However today wasn’t great bad because we need to focus a lot more than we are at the moment. Some rehearsals everyone in the room is being very load and not concentrating. This is affecting how long it takes to clean a dance as it takes a long time to get peoples attention. We could have dances cleaned a lot quicker if the chatting stopped.
Wednesday
Initial Thought
- We finished Act 1 Scene 12 with everyone involved
- we also set the finaly
What was good about it;
Everyone had got there focus back today, we fitted the stamps in the party scene (act 1, scene 12) with Claire. After that, Han set the finale. This included the singing and dialogue. This song is not a dance routine style song as it covers a very sensitive subject, and it is meant to look quite scary and serious.
What was bad about it;
Nothing was particularly bad with the season rehearsal however, this mourning there was a dance rehearsal on and as I was in maths I was unable to attend. This means I need to run over all the polishing they did this mourning so I am a wear of the changes
Action Plan;
I would like to meet with Izzy before tomorrows season so I can run over the changes that wear made.
Friday
Initial thoughts;
- finished choreography for “Money”
- Had a good session
What was good about it;
I really enjoyed today as I feel this was really good to finish off all the dances so we only have to polish now. This means we wont have to rush everything at the very end.
what was bad about it;
I do think we have left it a little late for some of the dances however, I think it will all come together it just means wear going to have to work harder. It also means we need to keep focus as a cast.
action plan;
I think we all need to really focus and not waste any more rehearsal time, we can simply do this by being stern with our selves.
